The New Culinary Cool!

We’re plating up something a little different at the Hotel Figueroa, and I wanted to share some pretty amazing “bites” that have been…popping up lately around town as we get closer to our grand opening! So here’s what you can start salivating over now. Because, real talk: I am.

We’ll have two incredible farm-to-table restaurants at our DTLA location, helmed by four-time James Beard nominee Casey Lane of Venice’s Tasting Kitchen fame. Inspired by Basque cuisine and our own Spanish Colonial roots, Chef will share a menu at our main restaurant Breva that’ll fuse French and Spanish flavors—along with more casual poolside dining at Veranda and 24-hour room service. Beyond eating well, it’s also just going to be a damn good time. In Casey’s own words, “We’ll throw a dinner party every night.” Yes, please.

We’ll also have four (yes, four!) bars curated by Dushan Zuric. You may remember him from such iconic NYC watering holes as Employees Only and Macao Trading Co. He’ll serve up handcrafted drinks made exclusively with local ingredients. Because there’s a reason we all came to a place where fresh produce grows year round. Dushan is a guy who gets it. As he likes to say, “There’s a difference between serving drinks and serving people.” I’m so down with that. Save me a barstool, guys.

So that’s all the news that’s fit to pimp… for now.
