To compliment our Spanish Colonial roots, our Executive Chef, James Beard Award nominee Casey Lane, has created a menu with strong roots in Basque cuisine. The Basque region is situated in the Western Pyrenees mountain range that spans the border between France and Spain on the Atlantic Ocean. The fertile Ebro Valley provides an abundance of meat, seafood, and produce. The cuisine is heavily influenced by a strong influx of French and Spanish flavors.
Los Angeles benefits from a similar situation being located between the Pacific Ocean and our nation’s largest farming valley that runs the length of California. Farm to table, sea to table… these aren’t ideals for us, rather these are simply the way things are done in every area of the property. In addition to our main restaurant Breva, Hotel Figueroa will offer casual poolside dining at Veranda, unique fare at Rick’s located beyond the pool, and in-room dining 24-hours a day.
